Kelvin PooDirector
Kelvin began his career as an architectural draftsman, building a solid technical base that still shapes his design approach. His drive to create spaces that link people with nature led him to further studies in interior and landscape design. In 2009, he attained his accreditation as a Certified Practising Horticulturist (CUGE – National Parks Board, Singapore).
With nearly two decades in the building and landscape industry, Kelvin has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects across Singapore and China. Earlier in his career, he was involved in major developments including Xi Hu Tian Di in Hangzhou and the Banyan Tree Resort in Lijiang, gaining strong exposure to large-scale residential, commercial, and hospitality landscapes. As co-founder of Ortus Design, Kelvin has spent the last 15 years driving the successful delivery of notable landscape projects such as Admiralty Park, Sentosa Adventure Cove Waterpark, and Jui Residence. Many of these have earned industry recognition for their design quality and execution. Today, Kelvin remains deeply involved in project delivery and team leadership. He brings grounded technical insight, clear design direction, and a practical, solutions-focused mindset to every landscape architecture project the studio undertakes. |
