Kelvin Poo

Director 

Kelvin started his career as an architectural draftsman, building a strong technical foundation that continues to inform his design work today. His interest in crafting spaces that connect people and nature led him to pursue further studies in both interior and landscape design. In 2009, he became a Certified Practising Horticulturist, accredited by CUGE–National Parks Board, Singapore.

With close to 20 years of experience in the building and landscape industry, Kelvin has contributed to a wide range of projects across Singapore and China. During his earlier years with another firm, he was involved in large-scale developments such as Xi Hu Tian Di in Hangzhou and Banyan Tree Resort in Lijiang, gaining valuable exposure to high-profile residential and hospitality projects.

As a co-founder of Ortus Design, Kelvin has spent the past 15 years guiding the team through the successful delivery of key landscape projects like Admiralty Park, Sentosa Adventure Cove Waterpark, and Jui Residence. Many of these works have received industry recognition, reflecting a consistent focus on thoughtful design, functionality, and execution.
Kelvin continues to play a hands-on role in project delivery and team leadership, bringing practical insight and design clarity to every stage of the landscape design process.
