Chia Jui Siang

Director

Meet Jui Siang, a visionary in landscape architecture whose journey began at Singapore Polytechnic, where he earned his Diploma in Architectural Technology in 1998. Following his National Service, he delved into the world of architecture, assisting Principal Architects on diverse projects ranging from elegant landed houses to impressive embassy constructions and residential apartments.

Fuelled by a desire for creative expression and a fascination with integrating greenery into design, Jui Siang pursued further education in Landscape Architecture, graduating in 2005. Since then, he's been at the forefront of innovative landscape design, leaving his mark on residential, recreational, and commercial projects, including the prestigious Project Jewel at Changi Airport and Resort World Sentosa.

Driven by a deep respect for the environment, Jui Siang champions the use of native vegetation to create sustainable, harmonious urban landscapes. His crowning achievement came with the Goodwood Residence project, which clinched the prestigious IFLA – APR President Award in 2014.

In 2017, Jui Siang embarked on a new chapter as a Director at Ortus Design, where he continues his mission as an environmental advocate. With a focus on reinforcing ecological functions in landscape design, he strives to give back to both the ecosystem and the community at large.
